Dr. Hishaw is the Program Director of the Neurology Residency Program, an Associate Professor of Neurology and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Medical Director of Polytrauma at the Southern Arizona VA. Dr. Hishaw’s clinical research focuses on 1) cognitive and behavioral outcomes of traumatic brain injury, 2) the assessment of mild traumatic brain injury, and 3) novel treatments in Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Dr. Hishaw is a board member of the Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona and has delivered multiple talks in educating the public and physicians on concepts in traumatic brain injury.
