The University of Arizona College of Medicine Neurology Residency Program 

Our residency program provides a comprehensive learning environment by which the residents are able to learn, practice, and achieve competency throughout the training program.  These requirements include patient care exposure, regularly scheduled didactic learning and reseach experiences.

 

Neurology Curriculum

A typical curriculum for three years of neurology residency training is as follows:

PGY-1
Internal Medicine 6 Months

Neurology

2 Months
Cardiology 1 Month
ICU 1.5 Months
Electives 1 Month
Neuroradiology 0.5 Months
* Vacation (22 days) can be taken during electives.  
PGY-2
Neurology Inpatient 7 Months
